Esteemed members of the Philippine Congress and the Bangsamoro Parliament convened for the 2nd meeting of the Philippine Congress – Bangsamoro Parliament Forum (PCBPF) in Pasay City, 23 August 2023.
PCPBF Co-Chairpersons Senator Loren Legarda and Representative Yasser A. Balindong for the Philippine Congress, and Speaker Pangalian M. Balindong from the Bangsamoro Parliament led the discussions on the implementation of Article XI of Republic Act No. (RA) 11054, otherwise known as the Organic Law for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao.
The body also designated members to form the Technical Working Groups (TWG) to discuss several matters including the Terms of Reference (TOR) of the PCBPF and its Secretariat.
The Presidential Legislative Liaison Office (PLLO), headed by Secretary Mark Llandro L. Mendoza, provided assistance and secretariat support during the event.
